He was previously a senior advisor in the White House, where he developed strategic partnerships with private sector firms and with other nations on various economic development issues. On Capitol Hill, Pranay served on the Senate Finance Committee for 2017’s landmark tax reform negotiations, and advised members of Congress on various issues, from economics to higher education policy.

Pranay studied International Affairs & International Economics at the University of Georgia, and Policy & Management at George Washington University. Pranay has been named an Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar, a National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs 40 Under 40, and a Wilson Center Foreign Policy Fellow.
