Exemption- Other Categories

The exemption process varies based on the type of exemption under which an institution falls.   The "Other Exemption" categories include the following:

  • K-12
  • Trade, Business, Professional, Fraternal
  • Recreational/Avocational
  • Other State Agency Oversight
  • Test Preparation
  • Military Base
  • Tax Preparation
  • Flight School
  • Nonpublic ABA Law School
  • Nonpublic Liaison Committee Medical

To inquire about qualification for exemption, please submit an Exemption Inquiry Form.  Your submission will be reviewed by the Exempt School Coordinator and a response will be sent.

If your institution qualifies for an exemption, an account will be established and you will receive email instructions for completing an application for exemption.

GNPEC will not permit the use of a requested name that misrepresents, conflicts or potentially causes confusion with existing educational institution names.
