"GNPEC Help" Consumer Alert

November 2, 2021

Consumers are advised that the gnpechelp.com website and services advertised thereunder are not affiliated or associated with GNPEC nor endorsed by the agency in any way.  Furthermore, postsecondary institutions seeking Authorization or a Notice of Exemption do not require a consultant to complete GNPEC applications or communicate with the agency.  GNPEC staff are available during normal office hours to discuss the Authorization and Exemption application process and answer all questions institutions may have regarding GNPEC’s oversight and review of Authorization and Exemption applications.  In the event that an institution decides to retain a consultant, it should conduct independent research and engage in due diligence prior to engagement.

Consumers seeking information and GNPEC resources should visit the GNPEC website at https://gnpec.georgia.gov/.  As a reminder, State of Georgia government websites and email systems use “Georgia.gov” or “ga.gov” at the end of the address.  Before sharing sensitive or personal information, make sure you are on an official state website.  You may also call 1-800-GEORGIA to verify that a website is an official website of the State of Georgia.
