Please review the criteria for religious exemption here.
If you are ready to begin the process outlined, please submit an Exemption Inquiry Form. Your submission will be reviewed by the Exempt School Coordinator and a response will be sent.
If your programming qualifies for exemption, login credentials will be created and sent to you, and you may follow the directions below to log into the system which permits online submission. Once you have logged in, you may update your contact information and begin submitting the information and/or documents needed to renew your institution’s exemption from other GNPEC requirements.
- Visit the following website: https://ga.edvera.com or select Edvera from gnpec.georgia.gov.
- Enter the login information provided by the GNPEC staff member and click “Log In”.
- Update Account Information
You will now see your “Dashboard” with your school’s information listed.
a. Your name should appear in the top right corner of the screen.
b. Click on your name to access your Profile and Notifications (this is your mailbox).
c. If needed, please update your contact information.
d. Save the information by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.
Select the “Documents” tab at the top of the page.
a. Select the “+Start Document” tab.
b. Select “Initial Religious Exemption” from the drop down menu.
c. Enter your institution’s information. You can save and return to the document if necessary.
5. Approval Process
Once you have completed the forms, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen. Your institution’s status will be “Pending RS Approval”. The document may be found under the "In Progress" tab under "Documents".
6. Additional Requirements: A check or money order for the non-refundable initial fee ($500) made payable to GNPEC must be sent to the office at the listed address or paid online here:
